The January blues……

I’ve been trying my hardest as many of you have to keep myself motivated this January, what with the lack of daylight hours and the cold, its really difficult. Its been so cold in the shed that the copper foil won’t stick to the glass, so my Zibro heater has been working hard to keep both me and the glass warm.

That said i have managed to drag myself out and have started on 2023’s designs. This year I’m moving painted pieces into my designs. I love the hedgerows and enjoy recreating them into my glass as I feel they are an extension t0 the ph0tography of the local landscape that use.

I’ve just uploaded a few of my new pieces into the ‘Shop’ pop over and have a look, if you would like anymore information then just drop me a message.

I have also been very busy with Commissions in January, they always keep me on track! I will post later in the year when the recipients have had their gifts.

Thankfully we are now in February, later this month I’m off to a beautiful garden to see their collection of Snowdrops, I won’t forget my camera. Fingers crossed for a sunny day.

A square panel with mirrored edging with wispy clear and purple glass. The centre of the glass has a black and white picture of a tree, the picture was taken above Hay on Wye.

A panel from 2022, now sold.
